GENERAL

When is STARtech21: A Virtual Experience?
STARtech21: A Virtual Experience will take place from April 16-18, 2021. All times are listed in Eastern Time (ET). Times may be converted to your local time here. 

Who can attend?
Anyone from around the world can participate! To access content and receive credits, individuals must register here. Only individuals who register and attend will receive a 
Certificate of Attendance to be used for continuing education purposes. 

How do I become a member of STAR to take advantage of the discounted member rate?
If you wish to become a member of STAR, click here.
 
How do I attend?
After you register online, you will receive a confirmation email verifying your registration. Once you get the confirmation email you can add the conference to your 
calendar. Roughly a week prior to the conference, you will receive an email with login information to the STARtech21 virtual landing page.

What if I can't attend some of the sessions?
All sessions will be recorded and can be accessed by all registered attendees.

If I am unable to attend the live sessions and can only view the recorded presentations, can I still submit for credits?

Yes, for those preregistering for STARtech21, CEUs will be available for 14 days following the conclusion of STARtech21 (through May 2). This is for those attendees who are unable to attend live but are able to take advantage of the recorded sessions within that 14-day period. NCRA requires submission directly within a set amount of time, therefore, STAR will be able to submit CEUs to NCRA for all live attendees and for those who view the recorded sessions through May 2. After May 2, all sessions will be available for viewing by those who have registered but attendees will have to submit to NCRA at their own expense.

 

EXPERIENCE

Can I ask questions during the sessions? 
STAR highly encourages all attendees to utilize the Q&A feature. 

Will I have access to presenter's slides and/or handouts? 
STAR asks that all speakers provide their slides and handouts. All slides and handouts provided will be available for attendees to access. 

Can I use my computer or my mobile device to connect? 
The conference is optimized to be accessed on a desktop or laptop computer using the Google Chrome browser. We do not recommend using your mobile device. However, you will have the opportunity to dial in, if need be.

Are there any networking events? 
Yes! Join us for the STAR Lounge/ Irv's Place on Saturday, April 17, 5:00 pm - 6:00 pm ET.

Will there be sponsors? 
Yes, we will have a virtual sponsor directory which will allow attendees the chance to connect with different companies!

CEU CREDITS

STARtech21 offers 12 hours of learning.  1.2 CEUs are pending NCRA approval. In order to receive CEU credits, attendees will be required to complete an evaluation after each session attended. STAR will submit all CEUs to NCRA on behalf of attendees at no additional charge! 

 After NCRA approval is granted, application for 12 hours of non-ethics continuing education credits through the Texas JBCC will be submitted.  If you are a Texas CSR, please indicate your need for a certificate of attendance on each completed session evaluation.  Certificates of attendance will be sent within 7-10 days following completion of STARtech21 to the attendee's email address linked to their registration.

 Attendees are responsible for submission of their individual state continuing education credits. If your state requires specific attendance verification, mail [email protected] at the conclusion of STARtech21 and provide the needed information for your state.
