Industry Professional ($150): Any professional currently working in the field as a stenographer, voice writer, digital reporter, legal transcriptionist, videographer, scopist, or proofreader.
Agency Management ($150): Any professional who owns, manages, supervises, or assists in the operation of a court reporting or related business.
Educator ($150): Any industry professional in the business of educating court reporters regardless of method (steno, digital or voice).
First Year Professional ($150): Any professional in their first year of working in the field as a stenographer, voice writer, digital reporter, legal transcriptionist, videographer, scopist, or proofreader.
Student (FREE): Any person engaged in studies directly related to the field of court reporting, but not yet working in the field (stenography, voice writing, digital reporting, legal transcription, scoping, videography, etc.)
Retired (FREE): Any retired stenographer, voice writer, digital reporter, legal transcriptionist, videographer, scopist, or proofreader (qualified individuals spent their career working in this field and are of an appropriate age for retirement).

Your STAR dues cover individual membership for one year, beginning the day your member application and dues are submitted. Your membership is not transferable.
