2021 Annual Business Meeting
The STAR 2021 Annual Business Meeting is scheduled to take place on Saturday, October 16, 2021, via Zoom videoconferencing, beginning at 10:30 a.m. Eastern. All STAR members* are invited to attend the Annual Business Meeting. Below is the agenda for the 2021 Annual Business Meeting.

* Please note that pursuant to the Constitution and Bylaws, only Reporting, Agency, and Honorary Members shall have the right to vote on matters requiring a vote during the Annual Business Meeting.

Nominating Committee Report: 2021-2022 STAR Board of Directors Slate
The STAR Nominating Committee puts forth the names of the following individuals to be considered by the STAR membership for election as officers for the term of one year and directors for the terms designated of the STAR Board of Directors. These officers and directors will be voted upon at the Annual Business Meeting scheduled on Saturday, October 16, 2021.

Proposed Bylaws Amendments
The STAR Board of Directors, along with Constitution and Bylaws Chair Mark Renzi, have taken action to propose amendments to STAR's Constitution and Bylaws. Specifically, the proposed amendments are designed to update Article IV: Dues and Charges.
These amendments will be voted upon on Saturday, October 16, during the Annual Business Meeting. Additional information regarding the Annual Business Meeting will be shared with all STAR members in a future communication.
The proposed amendments are as shown below. Deletions are shown in strikeout font. Additions are in red.

Rationale:
The proposed amendments are intended to:
- Remove outdated language regarding assessments;
- Remove outdated monetary amounts;
- Remove outdated prohibition of proration of dues; and
- Add 90-day grace period for renewal of dues by current members.
The proposed amendments will allow the membership cycle of new and returning STAR members to be determined based upon their join date (i.e. rolling membership cycle). Present STAR members will remain on their current membership cycle upon its renewal.
